
H. Alexander Rich
The Gibbes Museum of Art in Charleston, South Carolina, has named H. Alexander Rich as its new president and CEO, beginning in August. A specialist in 19th- and 20th-century American and European art, Rich comes to the Gibbes Museum of Art from the Ashley Gibson Barnett Museum of Art at Florida Southern College, where he served as executive director and chief curator. He also served as department chair of art history and museum studies at Florida Southern College, as well as associate professor of art history.

Agustín Arteaga
The Crocker Art Museum has appointed Agustín Arteaga as the museum’s new Mort and Marcy Friedman Director and CEO. Arteaga, an internationally recognized leader and visionary, will assume his role on July 1. Arteaga’s appointment comes at a transformative moment for the Crocker, following the retirement of longtime director Lial A. Jones, as the museum continues to expand its reach and impact through groundbreaking exhibitions, educational initiatives and community partnerships.

Alexander Rotter
Christie’s has appointed Alexander Rotter as the auction house’s global president. Rotter previously served as Christie's global chairman, overseeing the continued growth of the major auction house. The new role of global president builds on previously laid foundations, along with developing and driving the business at the highest level across all categories.—
