Dr. Regina Palm is the new curator of American painting at the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art in Winter Park, Florida. This new post was created to further the museum’s mission to advance the community’s knowledge and appreciation of the Morse collection. Palm comes to the Morse Museum from San Diego, California, where she had been the associate curator of American art at the San Diego Museum of Art...The Baltimore Museum of Art recently announced the launching of three new initiatives that will provide direct support to Baltimore-based artists, galleries and communities: BMA Salon, BMA Screening Room and BMA Studio. The initiatives will provide financial relief to local artists and businesses as well as develop new platforms of visibility to bolster the success of Baltimore’s arts ecology. In addition, the museum has named Katy Rothkopf its new director...Kassandra Voyagis takes on the role of producer and director of the show for the LA Art Show. Affiliated with the show for 16 years, Voyagis formerly filled the role of executive director and continues to oversee all aspects of operations as well as develop new opportunities in her expanded role...The Montclair Art Museum in New Jersey appointed Ira Wagner as interim director, which began this past May...Dr. William Keyse Rudolph is the new deputy director, curatorial affairs for the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri. In this pivotal leadership role, Rudolph will assist in shaping the museum’s diverse exhibition program and lead its curatorial team…The Worcester Art Museum (WAM) has appointed Rachel Parikh its new assistant curator of Asian art. Parikh comes to WAM from the Harvard Art Museums, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Art Institute of Chicago in the Department of Asian Art. At WAM, Parikh’s responsibilities include developing a vibrant exhibition program and building on the museum’s holdings...Beginning in July, Mónica Ramírez-Montagut is the new director of the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University Broad...Historic New England’s Board of Trustees has recently appointed Vin Cipolla as the next president and CEO of Historic New England. Cipolla, who succeeds retiring president Carl R. Nold, has previously served as chairman, president and CEO at numerous public and private organizations in New York, Washington D.C., Boston and London...An art historian and curator specializing in the history of photography and 20th-century art, Lauren Richman has been named assistant curator of photography at the Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Museum of Art at Indiana University...A long-time supporter of the Tate Americas Foundation and trustee of the Tate Americas Foundation in 2015, Paul Britton has recently been elected Chair of the Board. A trustee since 2018, and previously chair of the North American Acquisitions Committee, Bob Rennie takes on the role of President of the Board... Bard College in New York City announces the appointment of artist and educator Hannah Barrett as director of the Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts. Prior to this appointment, Barrett was the international program coordinator at Bard College Berlin...Starting September 1, Juliette Bianco, deputy director at the Hood Museum of Art, will serve as director of the Weatherspoon Art Museum and adjunct faculty in the College of Visual and Performing Arts at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro...The Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University has appointed Trevor Schoonmaker its new director. Schoonmaker previously served as the museum’s deputy director of curatorial affairs and Patsy R. and Raymond D. Nasher Curator of Contemporary Art. —
