Collector's Focus: Landscapes

July/August 2024 Issue Special Feature

In the early 19th century, landscape painting began to dominate American art, reflecting the idealized perception of a vast, unspoiled wilderness, and awe at the sublime grandeur of the natural world. Much later, the artists most closely associated with the style—Thomas Cole, Frederic Edwin Church, Thoman Moran, Albert Bierstadt and others—would be grouped under the label, the Hudson River School. Their vision of American nature prevailed from 1825, peaking in the mid-century before waning in the years following the Civil War. Hudson River School art and the other styles of American landscapes that emerged from the movement regained popularity after World War I and has remained one of most highly collected genres of the market. Every art collection has a place for landscapes—don’t miss this chance to share your historic American works with our readers in our Collector's Focus: Landscapes

As an advertiser in this section, you will receive:
· An image of your artwork in the editorial portion of the Collector's Focus: Landscapes.
· A write-up highlighting your artist(s) working in this genre and works that will be available for sale.
· Direct contact information so collectors can purchase artwork straight from the pages of the magazine.
