The McNay Art Museum in San Antonio, Texas, has appointed Elizabeth Kathleen Mitchell as head of curatorial affairs. She previously served as the museum’s curator of prints and drawings. In this new role, Mitchell will oversee the McNay’s curatorial departments, guiding long-term exhibition planning, collection development, acquisitions strategy and cross-departmental collaboration.

Aaron Wile is the new John Updike Curator of the Frick Collection in Manhattan, having recently started this new senior role on April 6. He succeeds Dr. Aimee Ng, who became the museum’s Peter Jay Sharp Chief Curator last fall.

Brooklyn-based Powerhouse Arts has named Liz Munsell vice president of curatorial and arts programs, and Constanza Valenzuela as associate curator, rounding out the organization’s curatorial and arts programs team.
