The 2026 Winter Show brings together more than 70 leading international dealers, presenting museum-quality works spanning fine and decorative arts, antiques, jewelry and design, as well as a number of special events and collaborations with various arts institutions, cultural organizations and influential voices in the art world.
“For 72 years, the Winter Show has been a beacon of excellence, presenting museum-quality works that inspire and engage,” says Helen Allen, executive director. “But the show’s purpose reaches far beyond the Armory. At its core, it is about supporting East Side House and advancing its vital work in empowering communities through education and opportunity.”

An opening night preview takes place Thursday, January 22, benefitting the East Side House Settlement, a community-based social service organization based in the Bronx.
Among the exhibitors at this year’s fair is New York City-based Debra Force Fine Art. The gallery’s booth will feature works by Peter Blume, John George Brown, William Merritt Chase, Sanford Robinson Gifford, Hans Hofmann, Winslow Homer, George Inness, William Robinson Leigh, Richard Miller, Thomas Moran, Grandma Moses, William Sidney Mount, William McGregor Paxton, John Singer Sargent, Joseph Henry Sharp and Andrew Wyeth, among others. Pictured here is Conrad Wise Chapman’s 1869 oil Skaters in the Bois de Boulogne. “In early 1869, Conrad Wise Chapman visited a group of American expatriates in Paris, where he painted this lively winter scene in the Bois de Boulogne,” the gallery notes. “A large public park on the west side of the city, it became a popular spot for Parisians of all classes to meet and socialize during both summer and winter months.”

Also exhibiting at the 2026 Winter Show is Thomas Colville Fine Art, based in Guilford, Connecticut. Thomas Colville will be bringing a painting by Edward Moran in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence—the 1865 oil Union Volunteers Hospital. “The Union Volunteers Hospital and Refreshment Saloon was built in downtown Philadelphia by public subscription in 1865 as a private hospital and rest station for veterans of the Civil War,” says gallery owner Thomas Colville. “Samuel Bradford Fales, seen here with a gray beard, was the treasurer for the project and is being honored by the Union Army at its dedication. Numerous African-American wounded veterans can be seen attending the ceremony. Fales commissioned the young Edward Moran to paint this work, which remained in his family to the present day.”
