With the success of last year’s Antiques & Garden Show of Nashville, drawing more than 17,000 attendees to experience antiques, art, horticulture and immersive garden showcases, the 2026 event is highly anticipated. This year’s theme is “American Elegance,” with the vision created by fabric partner Kravet, brought to life by a talented team of designers, landscape architects and volunteers who will transform Nashville’s Music City Center for the duration of the event.

Representatives share that the theme is also inspired by the 2026 lecture series—an impressive lineup of U.S.-based experts who tout international influence and acclaim. For instance, celebrated designer, author and public speaker Preston Bailey, will lead the Floral Lecture on the art of designing an elegant celebration, slated for the morning of Saturday, January 10.

In addition to the lectures, special programming and garden displays, attendees will find impressive fine art and antiques by around 150 vendors. Roberto Freitas American Antiques and Decorative Arts, for example, will feature around three original oils painted by American illustrator, Newell Convers Wyeth (1882-1945).

“Recognized for his talent for portraying living characters from an author’s imaginary story, one of Wyeth’s paintings depicts the title character Rip Van Winkle in Washington Irving’s short story,” says exhibitor Roberto Freitas. “Wyeth later sold the painting to the Hotel Roosevelt in New York City, where it was displayed along the gallery toward the ball room.”

Freitas will also showcase another Wyeth painting from Jules Verne’s The Mysterious Island, titled The Bonadventure; and from Robert Louis Stevenson’s Treasure Island, The Treasures of the 3 Queens’ Pardon. In addition to fine art, Freitas will be bringing a late 19th-century Goddess of Liberty weathervane, attributed to William G. Henis of Philadelphia; a carved and painted tobacconist figure of an Indian maiden by Samuel Robb (1851-1928); as well as a collection of fine 18th- and 19th-century American furniture from the New England region.

The Antiques & Garden Show of Nashville will be open to the public January 9 to 11 at Music City Center, with receptions, preview viewings and festivities on January 8. To purchase tickets and for a detailed schedule, visit the event website. —
