Miami Art Week kicks off at the very end of November and over the course of the following days features dozens of dynamic art happenings, among them Spectrum Miami and its sister contemporary art show Red Dot Miami. While distinct shows, both fairs will be held under one roof at Miami’s Mana Convention Center from November 30 to December 4 and the ticket price includes entry into both events.
Spectrum Miami features the works of nearly 300 exhibiting galleries and more than 1,000 artists from the Florida region, the U.S. and around the globe; while Red Dot Miami is a curated gallery-only affair showcasing 65 galleries representing 500 artists from around the world. Known for its upscale works of art, the five-day show attracts more than 35,000 visitors and serious collectors who have the opportunity to enjoy specially curated programming and the fine art experience augmented with music, entertainment and other special events.
Spectrum Miami and its sister fair Red Dot Miami return to Mana Wynwood during Miami Art Week
This year’s interactive programming across both fairs include Art Labs, featuring specially curated site-specific projects by prominent galleries, art institutions, and art collectives participating in the fair; Spotlight Program, providing collectors with a focused look at several prominent galleries and artists that will each be creating a site-specific exhibition; and the Discoveries Collection, showcasing artwork chosen by the Spectrum Miami curatorial team.
“We’re excited to return to Mana Wynwood for what is anticipated to be a phenomenal Miami Art Week,” says Eric Smith, president of the event’s production company, Redwood Art Group. “Last year, we were able to bring collectors, artists and galleries together again, following a two-year hiatus that proved difficult for the entire art world. This year we are taking over the entire space at the Mana Wynwood convention center, to offer attendees and exhibitors our largest experience to-date. We will be showcasing an even broader range of the best the fine art and contemporary art industry has to offer. We’re very excited to expand our fairs and look forward to welcoming everyone to five days of immersive art and creative innovation.”
