American & European Art
Hindman’s upcoming American & European Art auction will feature an outstanding selection of fine paintings and sculptures. The American portion of the auction is highlighted by Autumn Furrows (est. $60/80,000) by acclaimed American artist Dale Nichols, best known for his rural landscapes. Created by Nichols in 1938, the oil on canvas is done in the artist’s graphic, highly stylized technique. Other standout works from the American portion include John George Brown’s You’re a Nice Pup from 1886, which is expected to bring in between $30,000 and $50,000.
