Neal Benezra, Wilhelmina Cole Holladay, Alexandra Deutsch Neal Benezra, the Helen and Charles Schwab Director at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, has recently announced that he will be stepping down from his nearly two-decade role at the museum. Benezra will assist in the transition and search for a new director, as well as continue to lead the day-to-day operations of the museum.

Beloved founder of the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Wilhelmina Cole Holladay passed away on March 6 at the age of 98. For almost 40 years, Holladay worked to celebrate and highlight the works of underrepresented women artists. Her memory leaves behind a continued legacy of supporting and lifting up women artists of the past and present.

Alexandra Deutsch has been named the John L. and Marjorie P. McGraw Director of Collections at Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library in Delaware. The appointment marks a new chapter for the museum as it puts greater emphasis on American art, design, gardens, landscapes and material culture. Previously, Deutsch served as director of museum engagement at Winterthur.—
