New York City’s anticipated American Art Week in the spring and fall always drums up an air of excitement among fine art collectors, and one of the highlights each season is Just Off Madison. It’s a widely loved art walk in which collectors can jump from prestigious gallery to prestigious gallery, all located along and around Madison Avenue. And after a 2020 hiatus, Just Off Madison is back, but note that the spring rendition is by appointment only, taking place on Monday, May 17.

Featured at Betty Krulik Fine Art will be a collection of bronzes by William Zorach. The works were purchased directly from the Zorach family and are available either as a collection or individually. Running during Just Off Madison, Debra Force Fine Art will be featuring a show titled An Adventurous Spirit: Julian Alden Weir along with works by other American impressionists. The Weir exhibition will include pieces from the 1870s through circa 1910 that descended in the artist’s family.

Courtesy Betty Krulik Fine Art, Ltd.Conner • Rosenkranz will be offering a 1912 bronze sculpture by Paul Howard Manship titled YAWNING (also SPRING AWAKENING), which depicts a nude woman stretching as she wakes. “Conner • Rosenkranz is pleased to offer this delightful early bronze by Paul Manship in conjunction with exhibition Paul Manship: Ancient Made Modern currently on view at the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford, Connecticut,” says the gallery.
